What’s the real life of a working creative like? Meet Ben Hagarty- director, editor, videographer, and founder of Black With No Cream – an online community for creators of any type who are looking to network, share ideas, and be better versions of themselves.
Ben’s details his road to Los Angeles and how he went from pounding the pavement as a Iowa-based content creator and musician to relocating to Los Angeles where his life as a videographer launched. Ben’s work includes working with artists and companies like Chris Brown, EA Games, Mac Miller, Mary J. Blige, and Schoolboy Q. Most notably, he toured with Beyoncé on the OTR 2 tour and his footage from her Coachella performance is featured in the Netflix documentary “Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé.”
Ben opens up about what it means to be innovative as a creator, creative must-haves, how to make money in the industry, and more. He also gives us a behind-the-scenes look into the creative process of successfully working with and building relationships with celebrity clientele.
